7 Steps for Creating the Life YOU Want

We all aspire to do, be and have great things. Yet most of us simply aren't creating the results we want. We complain that we don't have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives.

We point fingers and blame outside problems that "happen" to us and make life more difficult. But what we need to understand and keep at the forefront of our minds is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves. Regardless of personal circumstances, economic climates, and access to resources, it helps to maintain faith in the fact we each are more powerful than we think.

We all have the ability to create the life we want. We just need to learn how to do it. Is there an exact "formula"? No, but there are certain common features that successful people exhibit and that anyone can practice. They are what can jumpstart your success and attract what you want in life. You'd be hard pressed to find any high achiever who doesn't live by the following 7 tips:

1. Take No Less than 100% Responsibility for Your Life

One of the greatest myths that is pervasive in our culture today is that you are entitled to a great life and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, nurturing family time and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist. But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of the life you live. That person is you.

Everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing. Income. Debt. Relationships. Health. Fitness level. Attitudes and behaviors. That person who reflects back at you in the mirror is the chief conductor in your life. Say hello!

I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but the mind can play games, tricking plenty of people into thinking external factors are the source of failure, disappointment, and unhappiness. But the truth of the matter is that external factors don't determine how you live. You are in complete control of the quality of your life.

Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don't waste their time and energy blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

2. Be Clear Why You're Here

I believe each of us is born with a life purpose. Identifying, acknowledging and honoring this purpose is perhaps the most important action successful people take. They take the time to understand what they're here to do, and then they pursue that with passion and enthusiasm.

If you don't know what you're supposed to be doing, then just tune in to the signals around you. Looking toward others for help and guidance is helpful, but don't forget to stay tuned in to yourself—your behavior, attitude, likes and dislikes, and life experiences. Identify what's working and what isn't. If you need to, write it all down. You might be surprised by what you discover.

3. Decide What You Want

It sounds so simple, but here's the problem: I see plenty of people who are overly-busy yet who feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled. They are physically tired, spiritually drained, and far from where they'd like to be—as if they've been running on a treadmill going nowhere fast. Why? Because they haven't clearly mapped out what they want and then taken the steps to get there. Rather than identifying specific goals, milestones, and dreams (and I'm talking BIG dreams and goals here), they go through the motions day in and day out tackling unimportant tasks. They end up...you guessed it...going in circles and wasting lots of energy. In the meanwhile, they grow increasingly uninspired and out of touch with their authentic selves. This, of course, sets anyone up to living a life out of balance.

One of the main reasons why most people don't get what they want is they haven't decided what they want. They haven't defined their desires in clear and compelling detail. What does success look like to you? Not everybody's definition of success is the same, nor should it be.

Don't let your inner devil's advocate (or that incessant but unimportant To Do list) inhibit you from dreaming big. As soon as you commit to a big dream and really go after it, your subconscious creative mind will come up with big ideas to make it happen. You'll start attracting the people, resources, and opportunities you need into your life to make your dream come true. Big dreams not only inspire you, but they also compel others to want to play big, too.

4. Believe It Is Possible

Scientists used to believe that humans responded to information flowing into the brain from the outside world. But today, they're learning that instead we respond to what the brain, based on previous experience, expects to happen next. In fact, the mind is such a powerful instrument; it can deliver literally everything you want. But you have to believe that what you want is possible.

As you commit to believing in yourself, also make a commitment to toning down the complaint department. Look at what you are complaining about. I'm fat. I'm tired. I can't get out of debt. I won't ever get a better job. I can't stand the relationship I have with my father. I'll never find a soulmate in life. Really examine your complaints. More than likely you can do something about them. They are not about other people, other things, or other events. They are about YOU.

5. Believe in Yourself

If you are going to be successful in creating the life of your dreams, you have to believe that you are capable of making it happen. Whether you call it self-esteem, self-confidence or self-assurance, it is a deep-seated belief that you have what it takes; the abilities, inner resources, talents and skills to create your desired results.

Have unwavering faith in yourself, for good and bad. Make the decision to believe that you create all your experiences. You will experience successes thanks to you, and you will experience pain, struggle, and strife thanks to you. Sounds a little strange, but accepting this level of responsibility is uniquely empowering. It means you can do, change, and be anything. Stumbling blocks become just that—little hills to hop over.

6. Become an Inverse Paranoid

This one is straightforward: Imagine how much easier it would be to succeed in life if you were constantly expecting the world to support you and bring you opportunity. Successful people do just that.

7. Unleash the Power of Goal Setting

Experts on the science of success know the brain is a goal-seeking organism. Whatever goal you give to your subconscious mind, it will work day and night to achieve. To engage you subconscious mind, a goal has to be measurable. When there aren't any criteria for measurement, it is simply something you want, a wish, a preference, or a good idea.

Sometimes we need to make just one initial goal to get started, and that's okay. At least it comes with a few actions to achieve. A first step simply can be making an immediate change in a single area in your life. Are you unhappy about something that is happening right now? Make requests that will make it more desirable to you, or take the steps to change it yourself. Making a change might be uncomfortable and overwhelming for you. It might mean you have to put in more time, money, and effort. It might mean that someone gets upset about it, or makes you feel bad about your decision. It might be difficult to change or leave a situation, but staying put is your choice so why continue to complain? You can either do something about it or not. It is your choice and you have responsibility for your choices.

Bear in mind that you have to be willing to change your behavior if you want a different outcome. You have to be willing to take the risks necessary to get what you want. If you've already taken an initial step in the right direction, now's the time to plan more steps to keep moving you forward faster.

Isn't it a great relief to know that you can make your life what you want it to be? Isn't it wonderful that your successes do not depend on someone else?

So if you need just one thing to do different today than you did yesterday, make it this: Commit to taking 100% responsibility for every aspect of your life. Decide to make changes, one step at a time. Once you start the process you'll discover it is much easier to get what you want by taking control of your thoughts, your visualizations, and your actions!

Visualize and Affirm Your Desired Outcomes: A Step-by-Step Guide

You have an awesome power that most of us have never been taught to use effectively.

Elite athletes use it. The super rich use it. And peak performers in all fields now use it. That power is called visualization.

The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams, goals and ambitions.

Visualization of your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1.) It activates your creative subconscious which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2.) It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3.) It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4.) It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.
Visualization is really quite simple. You sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and imagine — in as vivid detail as you can — what you would be looking at if the dream you have were already realized. Imagine being inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes at the ideal result.

Mental Rehearsal
Athletes call this visualization process “mental rehearsal,” and they have been using it since the 1960s when we learned about it from the Russians.

All you have to do is set aside a few minutes a day. The best times are when you first wake up, after meditation or prayer, and right before you go to bed. These are the times you are most relaxed.

Go through the following three steps:

STEP 1. Imagine sitting in a movie theater, the lights dim, and then the movie starts. It is a movie of you doing perfectly whatever it is that you want to do better. See as much detail as you can create, including your clothing, the expression on your face, small body movements, the environment and any other people that might be around. Add in any sounds you would be hearing — traffic, music, other people talking, cheering. And finally, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you engage in this activity.

STEP 2. Get out of your chair, walk up to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Now experience the whole thing again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. This is called an “embodied image” rather than a “distant image.” It will deepen the impact of the experience. Again, see everything in vivid detail, hear the sounds you would hear, and feel the feelings you would feel.

STEP 3. Finally, walk back out of the screen that is still showing the picture of you performing perfectly, return to your seat in the theater, reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Then, bring this miniature screen up to your mouth, chew it up and swallow it. Imagine that each tiny piece — just like a hologram — contains the full picture of you performing well. Imagine all these little screens traveling down into your stomach and out through the bloodstream into every cell of your body. Then imagine that every cell of your body is lit up with a movie of you performing perfectly. It’s like one of those appliance store windows where 50 televisions are all tuned to the same channel.

When you have finished this process — it should take less than five minutes — you can open your eyes and go about your business. If you make this part of your daily routine, you will be amazed at how much improvement you will see in your life.

Create Goal Pictures

Another powerful technique is to create a photograph or picture of yourself with your goal, as if it were already completed. If one of your goals is to own a new car, take your camera down to your local auto dealer and have a picture taken of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your dream car. If your goal is to visit Paris, find a picture or poster of the Eiffel Tower and cut out a picture of yourself and place it into the picture.

Create a Visual Picture and an Affirmation for Each Goal

We recommend that you find or create a picture of every aspect of your dream life. Create a picture or a visual representation for every goal you have — financial, career, recreation, new skills and abilities, things you want to purchase, and so on.

When we were writing the very first Chicken Soup for the Soul® book, we took a copy of the New York Times best seller list, scanned it into our computer, and using the same font as the newspaper, typed Chicken Soup for the Soul into the number one position in the “Paperback Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous” category. We printed several copies and hung them up around the office. Less than two years later, our book was the number one book in that category and stayed there for over a year!

Index Cards
We practice a similar discipline every day. We each have a list of about 30-40 goals we are currently working on. We write each goal on a 3x5 index card and keep those cards near our bed and take them with us when we travel. Each morning and each night we go through the stack of cards, one at a time, read the card, close our eyes, see the completion of that goal in its perfect desired state for about 15 seconds, open our eyes and repeat the process with the next card.

Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization

An affirmation is a statement that evokes not only a picture, but the experience of already having what you want. Here’s an example of an affirmation:

I am happily vacationing 2 months out of the year in a tropical paradise, and working just four days a week owning my own business.

Repeating an affirmation several times a day keeps you focused on your goal, strengthens your motivation, and programs your subconscious by sending an order to your crew to do whatever it takes to make that goal happen.

Expect Results

Through writing down your goals, using the power of visualization and repeating your affirmations, you can achieve amazing results.

Visualization and affirmations allow you to change your beliefs, assumptions, and opinions about the most important person in your life — YOU! They allow you to harness the 18 billion brain cells in your brain and get them all working in a singular and purposeful direction.

Your subconscious will become engaged in a process that transforms you forever. The process is invisible and doesn’t take a long time. It just happens over time, as long as you put in the time to visualize and affirm, surround yourself with positive people, read uplifting books and listen to audio programs that flood your mind with positive, life-affirming messages.

If you would like a step-by-step, comprehensive approach for defining your goals, creating affirmations for them and how to create a powerful visual support system, take a look at our Vision Boards Kits... they contains a everything you need--just add your dreams!

Repeat your affirmations every morning and night for a month and they will become an automatic part of your thinking... woven into the very fabric of your being.

When Goals are Forgotten: 4 Steps to Get Back on Track

When Goals are ForgottenMost people start pursuing their goals – especially New Year’s resolutions – with great passion. But over time, they lose momentum, burn out and put their dreams aside.

If this happens to you, it’s a clear-cut sign that your goals are not sustainable. In this article, you’ll discover how to get back on track toward your goals – and accelerate your momentum.

1. Evaluate Your Motivation

If you’ve lost momentum toward your goals, the first thing to do is verify your commitment. A lot of our goals tend to be “should’s” rather than deep “want to’s.” But I’ve discovered that without a burning desire to achieve a goal, your motivation wanes quickly, and your subconscious mind turns its attention to more exciting desires.

For example, many people set New Year’s resolutions to lose weight – a goal that often falls into the “should” category. We feel like should lose weight because it will make us healthier, reduce stress on our joints, and make us feel more confident and attractive. Unfortunately, these benefits are typically not compelling enough to motivate us to keep our commitment to lose the extra pounds.

However, if you find out that a new baby will soon join your family, your “why” suddenly becomes bigger. Now you’re motivated to lose weight because doing so will increase the odds that you’ll be around to watch that baby grow into adulthood.

Pull out your list of goals, and for each one, ask, “What is my why? Why do I want to achieve this? And am I committed enough to my why to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal?” By identifying or even upgrading your “why,” you can tap into greater motivation and commitment to achieve your goal.

2. Are You Realistic?

Once you’ve confirmed that your goals are things you truly want to achieve, the second thing to verify is that your goals are realistic.

One by one, break each of your goals down. Get clear on what would really be required to achieve each goal. Realistically assess how many hours it would take each week or day to achieve the goal.
Next, start scheduling all of the activities that are required to achieve your various goals. (Note: If you don’t know all of the steps to achieve them, just list the ones that you are aware of for the purposes of this exercise; the rest of the steps will unfold once you begin taking action.)

Once you start scheduling key activities into your calendars, many of us begin to realize that there’s not enough time in our schedules to accomplish everything we want to do. If this is the case for you, go back and prioritize your goals. Which goals matter the most to you? Do any of your goals need to achieved before you can start working on another goal?

3. Declare Your Intentions

When you’re clear about which goals you’ll work on, you can increase your commitment by publicly declaring your intentions. Share your goals with the people in your life – the more, the better. You’ll be more likely to take action toward achieving your goals when the alternative is losing face with people about whom you care.

If the threat of public humiliation isn’t enough, you also can incorporate a negative consequence. Find something that will be painful for you to do, and publicly commit to enduring the consequence if you don’t achieve your goal.

Some people are more motivated by rewards than punishments. If this describes you, find a reward that you’ll receive upon completion of your goal. This could be anything from a vacation to buying the car you want or something more simple, such as treating yourself to a new outfit, Louis Vuitton bag or a massage. Rewards are powerful for motivating your inner child.

4. Creating Accountability

Most of us find it easy to let ourselves off the hook. We can quickly justify why we haven’t followed through on our commitment to take action on any particular day, just as we can easily make excuses about why we miss our targets completely.

If you find yourself frequently slipping into these habits, an accountability partner will be a huge benefit to you. In fact, I believe so strongly in accountability partners that participants at my annual Breakthrough to Success retreat to pair up with another attendee as their accountability partner before they leave.

Accountability partnerships work as follows: Each morning, you hold a 5-minute phone call during which you each share what you’re committing to do that day. For example, you could share your “Rule of 5,” in which you commit to doing 5 things to move you toward your biggest goal. (Tip: Use my Top 5 Priority Action Post-It notes to keep your commitment front and center.)

The next morning, you report on your progress from the previous day and share what you’ll accomplish in the coming 24-hour period. Knowing that your partner will be asking you whether you upheld your commitments the day before can be a powerful motivator for getting tasks completed.
A proven twist on accountability partnerships is working toward your goal with another person. For example, I meditate with my wife every morning. We hold each other accountable. If I sleep in too late, I can count on Inga to wake me up and say, “Come on, we’re meditating now.”

If you find that having a friend or colleague serve as your accountability partner is not enough, consider hiring a professional, such as a coach or trainer. These individuals may be better equipped to recognize self-sabotaging behaviors and beliefs – as well as to hold you accountable for taking action. And if you’re someone who hates to waste money, knowing that you’re paying someone to hold you accountable might be the added motivation you need to keep your commitments.

Get Back on Track – Starting TODAY!

It’s normal to veer off course when pursuing goals. Sometimes this happens because we’re not truly committed to our goals. Other times, it’s because we struggle to hold ourselves accountable for doing the necessary work. Use the tips in this article to get yourself back on track in making steady progress in turning your dreams into a reality.

Why You Should Duplicate Beliefs To Reach Success

All successful people share similar abilities. They are self-starters, they are able to motivate themselves easily, and they are able to change their thoughts into actions.

To duplicate someone’s success you need to duplicate his or her beliefs. You need the same core beliefs. Beliefs can be the firewall or passage way for you to reach your dreams, negative beliefs stop you from achieving your dreams and positive beliefs aid in the confidence and certainty needed to achieve amazing outcomes. Are you stopping yourself from achieving your dreams because you believe you don’t have the abilities or the resources to get there? Or will you give yourself a chance to say, “I’m going to take a shot, I am going to give this one a crack and prove to myself that I won’t be stopped or limited by my negative beliefs”.

Most people admire their idols so much that they start to believe things like: “They are different than I am, they are superhuman, they are born to do it, I’m not one of the lucky ones”, when that is not true at all. The “pedastooling” needs to stop! If you do this too often then you’ll start to believe that you will NEVER be on their level or be worthy of the success that they have acquired. Learn from your idols, admire them and smile, but don’t EVER believe that you can not be as successful as your role models are because YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN if your desires and beliefs are strong enough to achieve your dreams.

The only thing that is separating you from your idol is the limiting beliefs that you have created for yourself. Your idols may be more fortunate because they have spent the time to learn and master their craft, because they truly love what they do and have put in the long hours behind the scenes, or that they have met the right network of people who can align them with good opportunities along the way, but the one thing that stands them apart from those who have acquired fame and fortune in their field is that they have made the bold commitment to themselves and others, that chasing and achieving their dreams is the only option they have and they will never settle for less. This is the kind of belief that you must enforce in your mind, and your heart, if you want to achieve success with no limits.

Michael Jackson said it best when he said:We can program ourselves to be the person we want to be, whatever the subject matter is, live in it by a mental physical program – a system of learning and doing. Studying all the greats in that field and becoming greater. I believe we are powerful, but we don’t use our minds to full capacity. Your mind is powerful enough to help you attain whatever you want.”

Also remember, don’t forget to fail, failure breeds success. Don’t think for one minute that your role model or idol never failed at anything at some point in their life. They probably failed more than you know, and that is why they are successful in achieving their dreams.

We only get what we believe that we deserve. Raise the bar, raise your standards and you will receive a better outcome. – Joel Brown

How to Stop Settling for Less - Jack Canfield's Success Tip #2

Decide What You Want

I know it sounds so simple, but here's the problem: I see plenty of people who are overly-busy yet who feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled in their lives.

They are physically tired, spiritually drained, and they’re far from where they'd like to be—as if they've been running on a treadmill going nowhere fast. Why? Because they haven't clearly mapped out what they want and then taken the necessary steps to get there. Rather than identifying specific goals, the milestones toward the achievement of their goals, and their dreams (and I'm talking BIG dreams and goals here), they go through the motions day in and day out tackling unimportant tasks. They end up...you guessed it...going around in circles and wasting lots of energy. In the meantime, they grow increasingly uninspired and out of touch with their authentic selves. This, of course, sets anyone up to living a life out of balance.

One of the main reasons why most people don't get what they want is they haven't decided what they want. They haven't defined their desires in clear and compelling detail.

What does success look like to you? You know, not everybody's definition of success is the same, nor should it be.

Chances are, you’re pretty clear about what you don’t want, but if you're like most people I meet and work with, you haven’t given much time and consideration to what you do want.

I’m here to tell you that in order to create what you want in your life, you must first take the time to clarify your goals, and be specific in the process. So stop settling for whatever just happens to come your way in life, and start to take ownership of the fact that you can actively participate in the creation of your ideal future by clearly stating your desires as written, measurable goals.

The bottom line is this: If you don’t really know exactly what you’re asking for, then how can you expect to get it? So it’s imperative that you take the time to decide what you really want to create in your life, write it down, and be perfect and precisely clear about it. This is one of the most important first steps to creating the life of your dreams. So take it!

How to Take Control of Your Life and Results

Success Tip #1 : Take No Less than 100% Responsibility for Your Life
One of the greatest myths that's pervasive in our culture today is that you are entitled to a "great life" and that somehow, somewhere, someone is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness, exciting career options, a nurturing family and blissful personal relationships, simply because we exist.

But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of your life.. and that person is you.

You see, everything about you is a result of your doing or not doing.
Your Income. Your Debt. Your Relationships. Your Health. Your Fitness level. Your Attitudes and behaviors... everything!

That person you see when you look in the mirror is the chief architect in your life.
You know, I think everyone knows this in their hearts, but the mind can play games, tricking us into thinking that external factors are the source of our failure, our disappointment, and our unhappiness.
But the truth of the matter is that external factors don't determine how you live.

You -- and only you -- are in complete control of the quality of your life experience.

Successful people take full responsibility for the thoughts they think, the images they visualize, and the actions they take. They don't waste their time and energy on blaming and complaining. They evaluate their experiences and decide if they need to change them or not. They face the uncomfortable and they take risks in order to create the life they want to live.

Now it's time for you to reclaim your power and take control of your results.

One way to begin is by simply responding differently to the events that occur in your life. That's right... you can actually change the outcomes in your life - and get better ones -- simply by changing your responses to the challenges and opportunities that occur.

You see, you only have control over three things that you can control in your life -- the thoughts you think, the images you visualize, and the actions you take.

And how you use those three things determines everything you experience.
So, if you don't like what you are experiencing and what you are producing as results in your life, you have to change your mental, visual and behavioral response to the events that occur in your life.

Remember this, nothing will change for the better until you do.

5 Steps to Getting What You Want in Life!

Do you want to live your dreams? Do you know what those dreams are? Do you know the three areas of your life that will help you achieve your dreams?
There are only three areas of your life where you need to take action if you want to have an incredible life: health, wealth, and relationships. If you set goals in these three areas of your life and then achieve them, you can get rich, achieve life fitness, and have the fantastic relationships you want.
Regardless of which areas of your life you want to set goals and achieve success, the action plan is the same. Below you will find the steps you need to take to set your goals and reach your dreams.
1. Decide what you want out of life.
This is one of the hardest things in life to do. No one ever asked me when I was growing up what I wanted out of life so I didn't know. I didn't have any idea how to decide that either. I believe we each have a mission and purpose in life we are each here to fulfill. In order to do that, you have to know what you want because what you want is tied to your mission and purpose, "the desires of your heart." Write down three things you want to have in the three major areas of life: health, wealth, and relationships. Be as specific as possible.
2. Determine any obstacles you have and decide how to eliminate them.
Having the right mindset is absolutely crucial to your success. If you believe you are not capable of achieving your dreams, or you believe you don't deserve it, then you will find some way to sabotage your efforts. It's important to root out these beliefs. Once you do this, then those beliefs need to be replaced with the right beliefs. Meditation, changing your beliefs, and exercise help you change the way you feel about yourself.
3. Make a plan of action for attaining your goals.
Choose three goals, one for each area of your life: health, wealth, relationships. Maybe you have success in one or two of these areas, but you don't have success in the third one. Consider choosing just one goal. It's important to choose goals throughout your life. Challenge is what helps us keep our enthusiasm for life.
4. Take action.
You don't have to have a perfect or complete plan, just a basic set of steps to help you get started. Once you get started, you can always add additional steps. What's important here is to make sure you ask yourself if the steps you are adding are really necessary for succeeding at your goals.
5. Reevaluate to see if what you are doing is working.
Feedback is also important. If what you are doing isn't working, then it's important to try something else. Imitating those who have already successfully achieved those things you want to achieve can help you succeed faster.

Repetition Attracts.....!!!

Often, people think of the things that they don’t want in life. People become anxious and
worried and they think that ‘being on the alert’ will prevent bad things from happening in
their lives. Unfortunately, this kind of thinking also activates the law of attraction. The
process of manifesting the things you want to appear in reality is not complicated but it is
not completely easy as well. The complication arises from the nature of the law of
attraction.

For example, if you keep saying “I don’t want to lose my promotion” eventually, the
determination that follows this negative thinking will attract a negative outcome (i.e. not
being promoted). The law of attraction does not sift through our various emotions and
intentions just to please us.

If your mind focuses on negative things, the law of attraction will give you negative
things. And with the law of attraction, negative outcomes will repeatedly arrive on your
doorstep if the conditions are just right (i.e. if you keep thinking of negative things). In
short – negation is not an effective way of tapping into the power of the law of attraction.
Here are some examples of what people think and what the law of attraction actually
processes and attracts:

Thought: “I don’t want to have a bad day”
Transmitted: “I really want to have a bad day”

Thought: “I don’t want to lose my promotion”
Transmitted: “I want to lose my promotion”

Thought: “I don’t want my computer to break down”
Transmitted: “I want my computer to break down”

Thought: “I don’t want to miss my flight!”
Transmitted: “I want to miss my flight!”

Thought: “I don’t want my submission to be late”
Transmitted: “I want my submission to be late”

An Error That People Love To Repeat

Law Of Attraction
People are usually unsure about what they want in life… But they are almost always sure what they don’t want. People don’t want to be poor – so many folks are plagued with thoughts that center on bankruptcy and endless poverty. There is endless fear, anxiety and sometimes even resentment because life is not playing out perfectly.
Thinking about what you want and thinking about what you don’t want in life are two very different things. Some people might say that if you know what you don’t want you automatically know what you want, right?

Wrong. At least, that’s how it works when it comes to the law of attraction. Like attracts like – this simple yet complex concept of the law of attraction is the pitfall of many individuals. If you keep thinking about the things that you don’t want in life, you will, with certainty, attract those negativities into your life.

Does this sound incredulous or impossible? It isn’t. Because as you think more and more
about the things that are making your life miserable or intolerable, you are forming
mental signals that speak directly with the universe.

That’s why many people are unable to recover from challenges like debt. The more they
think about their debts, the more they are submerged in the negativity that the situation
has inspired. And in the end – that is all the Universe will give them, because they think
of nothing else but the debts.

People usually react to this by saying: doesn’t the law of attraction know what’s good for
me? Think about it – does the law of gravity know which things to attract to the ground?
It doesn’t. When the conditions are right, the invisible force pulls anything to ground. It
doesn’t matter where you are at the moment that the conditions have become just right
for gravity to work.

It doesn’t matter if you are busy or not – gravity will still work. The same thing happens
when we focus all our energies and thoughts on the negative. Whether we like it or not,
the law of attraction works immediately (though subtly) to bring to you what you have
been focusing on for the longest time. If you have a burning thought about poverty and
debt, the law of attraction will attract the parallel – which is of course poverty and debt. If
you have a burning thought about earning more money, the law of attraction will attract
more wealth for you. It is that simple.

The law of attraction is not a man-made concept and it doesn’t work for people alone. It
is present in the smallest components of life. What we are doing here is we are
progressively learning the coordinates of the law of attraction so you can maximize the
benefits and rewards that it brings – ceaselessly.

Re-shape Your Mind To Supercharge Your Motivation!

Do you sometimes struggle to stay motivated? Perhaps you find it harder if it is a task you don't really enjoy - eating correctly, working out regularly, studying a subject you don't like, perhaps you find it difficult to get motivated at work?

Sometimes we are more motivated than others. It is quite common to start something new - whether it be a diet, an exercise routine, taking up a new hobby or trying harder in a certain area. In the beginning your are hyped up, enthusiastic, and eager to get started.

Things start well as you sink your teeth into your new project and you feel super motivated. The end result is vivid in your mind and the excitement drives your motivation - whatever it is; a new slim body, an increase in salary, perhaps success in your education.

However, after the initial excitement of a new project starts to fade away you find it more routine, and you become much less enthusiastic. Sadly you become less and less motivated.
What if we could stay motivated - maintain that higher level of buzz and drive we have at the start of a new project right throughout - well this can be a reality!

More and more people are turning to subliminal audio as a tool to help increase levels of motivation, willpower and drive effortlessly.

Subliminal audio used to be quite mysterious, but it is quite simple really. They basically work as a mild form of hypnosis, and instead of entering a trance the subliminal audio reach your unconscious mind effortlessly - without you even being aware of them.

You'll never hear any audible words because they are moved to a greater audio frequency that only your subconscious mind can intercept. Once it does it processes them and stores them exactly like it would with any other information, gradually the subliminal phrases really begin to build within your unconscious mind and gradually make sustained changes to your self beliefs and perceptions - and in this instance to how naturally motivation comes to you.

Subliminal audio is especially good at making alterations to motivation. It is because motivation is essentially goverened by our unconscious mind - if you are motivated in one area you will be able to make use of that into all other areas of your life, so by manipulating the subconscious mind on a deep level you change your base levels of motivation and this spills over inot all areas of your life.

How Do Subliminal Downloads Work?

The word subliminal itself actually explains how the process works. It means “below threshold”, a person’s “threshold” or capacity regarding taking in something that they hear is what subliminal messaging plays on.

When we are awake and aware we can easily perceive the things around us, but only to an extent. There are many things that are continuously occuring in the background of our every day lives and we never even realize it. These kinds of background events demonstrate how subliminal audio works.

Say you are walking down the street and you notice the vehicles as well as men and women moving about around you. While walking, you hear your own thoughts, a car horn and a group of people talking. Those three things are the apparent perceptions, nevertheless , you may have unintentionally listened to someone in the group say that they are going to start taking it easy and decrease their pace a bit.

You didn’t actually hear that voice shine through the others and also you didn’t take time to fully grasp it either. You just keep walking on to your destination. When you approach the next intersection the light turns yellow, instead of rushing across the sidewalk as you normally do, you decide to slow down and wait for the next light. You have just been affected by subliminal audio, although all of this could have happened and you will never have known.

The same concept lies in purpose driven subliminal audio. When there is a goal or topic to be absorbed via messaging, the subliminal suggestions play in the background of the track - you never notice they are there or become aware of them.

After enough of this unconscious perception, the topic or goal will start to 'unconsciously' play out in your daily everyday life all without any real practice or effort. Effective subliminal messaging does take a willing subconscious mind as with all self-help practices, however, the benefits can be life changing.

Three Steps to Win In Life

Three Steps to Win In Life

Step One: Planning to Win

There are lots of steps and sub-steps you have to put together when you begin to plan your success, but a few things are foundational. Planning has to be based on getting a clear vision of what you want, because without a vision you don’t know which goals to set. Without goals you have no targets, and without targets you have nothing to measure how you’re doing. So you can see how important a vision is. Getting a clear vision for your future is also important because it plays a huge role in the creation of desire! Did you know that desire is the mother of motivation? Desire is the “want to” and the motor that fuels and powers sustained success.

Desire is important and vision is critical, but there are some personal qualities you must have or acquire to get the best possible results. As a matter of fact, there are six qualities: honesty, character, faith, integrity, love, and loyalty. I have called these qualities the foundation stones to any lasting success. You can develop each of these qualities in your life as you prepare to become the winner you were born to be.

Step Two: Preparing to Win

At first glance, you might think planning and preparing mean the same thing. I admit they might look like they are first cousins, but I see preparation as much different from planning. Preparation is a matter of equipping yourself to win with the right tools, knowledge, and support it will take to turn your dreams into plans that will make your vision into reality. So, you must equip yourself in the best possible way to insure your planning efforts will be successful.
Equipping and preparing yourself to win requires five things:
• You need the right knowledge to win.

• You must continually raise your personal performance bar.

• You must acquire tools that help you work better and faster.

• You have to practice your skills.

• You have to surround yourself with positive influences and people.

In summary, you have to train yourself to become a twenty-four-hour champion. Winning involves planning and preparing. Both are a constant-improvement, never-ending process. When you stop planning and preparing . . . you stop winning. Twenty-four-hour champions continually equip themselves to win!

Step Three: Expecting to Win

I’ve always said that when you have planned and prepared to win, you then have the right to expect to win. The ultimate fruit of positive expectation is hope, and it is hope that pulls you forward in all you attempt to do. I’m always hopeful and I never worry. I can say that because I expect the best possible result in all that I do. I expect the best because I planned my success, prepared myself to execute my plans, and earned the right to expect the best.

Desire is the mother of motivation, because that is where your motivation is born. Properly planning and preparing heightens your expectations, which fuels your desire and drives you to become even more motivated. Through the years I’ve continually heard from individuals from all walks of life whose lives were in a downward spiral—until they heard something in my audio products or read something in my books that gave them the will and the skills they needed to change their circumstances and transform their lives.

They testify that by putting my simple suggestions into practice their lives were transformed. Sometimes the transformation was mental, sometimes it was spiritual, and other times it was material. Whatever the transformation, there was a commonality to the core changes they made. These people changed the way they viewed themselves. They became willing to make significant changes, and they came to believe they were born to win! What they really did is develop the skills and take the necessary actions they needed to plan, prepare, and expect to win!

You were born to win. But to be the winner you were born to be you have to plan to win, prepare to win, and only then can you expect to win. Go out and be the winner you were meant to be today!

PROCEED

What would you do right now if you knew that everything today would turn out perfectly? What project would you start, what person would you talk to, what problem would you tackle if you could be assured of success?

Is there anything you're putting off because you're afraid of failure? Is there anyone you're avoiding because you're afraid of what they would say or think?

There is no guarantee of success. But there is a guarantee that if you never go for it, you'll never have it. And even in the failed attempts, you'll learn and grow. There is no guarantee that other people will think highly of all you say and do. But that's their problem.

Do you believe in the worth of your own pursuits? If so, then what could possibly prevent you from following them? If you're looking for a sure thing, then here's one -- everything you achieve will come only from the things you attempt. In order to succeed, you must proceed. Today is a great day to start.

Remember this; "Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent." - Marilyn Vos Savant

Climb The Mountain!

I tried to climb the mountain today. As I inched my way up the path, I felt out of breath and had to turn back. I tried to climb the mountain today. But, It was so hot outside, I thought I had better stay in my nice air-conditioned house and rest up for tomorrow's attempt.

I tried to climb the mountain today. On my journey, darkness started to fall and I was full of fear, so I had to return to a safe place. I was ready to climb the mountain today. But I had so may other things to do, so instead of climbing the mountain I took care of the much more important tasks; I washed my car, mowed the grass and watched the big game. Today the mountain will have to wait.

I was going to climb the mountain today. But as I stared at the mountain in all it's majestic beauty, I knew I had no chance of making it to the top, so I figured why even begin trying. I had forgotten about climbing the mountain today, until an old friend came by and asked what I was up to lately. I told him about all my plans to climb that mountain someday. I went on and on about how I was going to accomplish the task.

He stopped me and said, "I just got back from climbing that mountain. for the longest time I told myself I was going to try to climb it but never made any progress." "I almost let the dream of making it to the top die. I came up with every excuse of why I could not make it up the mountain, but never once did I give myself a reason why I could. One day as I stared at the mountain and pondered, I realized that if I didn't make an attempt at this dream all my dreams would eventually die."

"The next morning, I started my climb. It was not easy, and at times I wanted to quit. But no matter what I faced, I placed one foot in front of the other, keeping a steady pace. When the wind tried to blow me over the edge, I kept walking. When the voices inside my head screamed, stop! I focused on my goal, never letting it out of sight. I kept moving forward. I could not quit because I knew I had come too far to stop now. Time and time again, I reassured myself that I was going to finish this journey. I struggled mightily to make it to the top, but I CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN."

"I have to be going," my friend said. "Tomorrow is a new day to accomplish more dreams. By the way what are you going to do tomorrow?" I looked at him, with intensity and confidence in my eyes, and said, "I HAVE A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB.

Make The Decision, Then Do Something - No Matter How Small - Toward Accomplishing What You Want!

I hope most of you are having an awesome and wonderingful start of the working week? Well, here in Manchester (UK) the weather is not so great. Some showers now and again. I am not here to give the weather report, (I guess most of you have already got that weather report this morning before you set off for work or whatever you do...!) As you already know I don’t like dwelling on negative news so lets forget about the weather.

As I mentioned in some of my posts last night as I was coming back from London, we had a great weekend (10th to 12th May) at the Internet Millionaires Super Summit. It was a full three day learning weekend and I really enjoyed it and learned alot of stuff. For those of you who have never attended one of these seminars, these are exciting events with lots of content to learn from guys who have made millions upon millions of dollars in cash on the internet.

This event was so exciting for me because I had made a challenge for myself well before the event was announced. I was talking with brother in-law the other day. And I told him that there was these two guys I wanted to meet who have made millions of pounds from scratch in less than five years on the internet. My intention was to meet them in person and establish a relationship with them because I admired what they were doing and what they have achieved so far in a short period of time. I actually wanted them to be my mentors. So just a few days after that talk with my brother in-law the event was announced and the list of speakers included these two guys. Well, as you can imagine it did not take me long to decide to register for the event.

After registering then I had to put in my work leave request though it was already less than 28 days notice we are required to (company policy). Fortunately that same day I put in my request it was granted. I also booked my train tickets. Then I did a search for hotels in London and guess what? For the two nights, the cheapest hotel I could find was £390.00, for just the room. After a few days searching I eventually found a 4 star hotel next to Heathrow airport for just £138 for the two nights.
Fast forward to the 10th, I had a safe journey to London. The seminar started at exactly 09:00, Shaun Casey (one of the speakers) was the first on stage. He spoke about setting goals, how to get money, riskless money on the internet, front end and backend products. He was great. Then after him came the guys I was waiting for, (Mili Ponce and Paul O’Mahony), they spoke about Social Media, how they made their millions using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We only finished after 7pm on that day.

Saturday morning I was in that conference room by 08:30 am after having travelled for almost an hour on the train. As I entered the room, I saw Paul sitting at the back so I went straight to him and we started talking. He is a down to earth guy; I was with him for almost 15 minutes before he went on stage. They started teaching and right in the middle of their talk Paul went on to mention our conversation earlier and he had to ask me to raise my hand from the crowd of about 200 people, well I did. And after their talk I met up with Paul again and guess what guys he agreed to mentor me and will be starting this Wednesday, I can’t wait. I later on met with Mili and the other guys; Matt Bacak, Brain Koz, Shaun Casey and Nick James. Oh had some pictures taken with these guys too.

The point I am trying to make here is that if you have an intention don’t let anything stop you from getting what you want. GO FOR IT! The universe will always rearrange itself to allow you to get whatever it is that you desire. You don’t have to know the HOW, it’s not your job. Most of all stick to it and it will happen for you.

The icing on the cake was the last day of the event when they had a draw for the money which these guys made in the three days by selling one product. To cut a long story short, I missed out on the big prize (about $7100) but was the run up got £50. Well, some might say it’s not that much but remember this, by just attending this event I met people whose help is worthy a lot to me than the money I spend to be at this event.

Are you going to continue doing what you have been doing hoping to get different results or you are going to start now and change your life. We can be on this journey together, you are not alone. Have a great day!
